![]() What were you doing when you thought up the idea for Half Bad? I did an Open University course in Social Sciences in 2009/2010 and I loved writing the essays ā I realised that if I loved writing essays on politics Iād love writing anything! After the course finished I had an idea for a short story and started writing ā that grew into the beginnings of a novel. You said you started writing in 2010 and have loved it ever since. Similarly Half Lies grew and changed as I wrote it. ![]() It then changed again during the edit of Half Wild to bring more emphasis to the war between the witches. ![]() I knew I was going to write a trilogy and had a vague idea of how it would be structured over the three books, but I changed that idea about a third of the way through writing Half Bad. ![]()
